In order to reach this place (using public transportation) you need to reach Frutigen and once you are there make sure to catch bus 230. In about 25 minutes you reach Adelboden and from the "Post" bus stop you walk about 10 minutes and you reach the gondolas. In less than 10 minutes you will have reached the top. Even though Adelboden is associated with ski and snow you can still go during the warmer months and enjoy a beautiful landscape.
don't drive direct up there. the parking is slightly downhill. and elevator up to the church area, then a bit of walk.
it's Swiss price, but family "buy adult get one kid free", so it's actually a good deal.
It’s the lower level mountain, great to ski or sled. Or just chill at the bar and drink and admire the view.
We went here in June, and made a beautiful hike down. There are several tracks to choose from, some more difficult then others. It was quite windy on the top, and therefore a bit cold, even though it was 25°C in the valley below. So bring a sweater or scarf!
From the top you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, and during the hike you walk through flower fields, cow pastures or the woods. Bring something to eat and drink, you can fill your bottle on several places, but we didn't encounter a restaurant or stop that offers food.

It's a nice small resort that is nice to visit for a day but not much longer
A nice place for skiing snowboarding and with different kind of sleds! Not a good place for beginners! Really nice and beautiful place!

Beautiful location, wonderful part of the world, very accessible also. Can be a bit a bit pricey.
